White House: tort reform is included in the Affordable Care Act

side note: The White House is saying that the alternative medical malpractice resolutions included in the Affordable Care Act are medical malpractice tort reforms. Charles Krauthammer and his conservative peers say that anything less than a federal non-economic damage cap is no real tort reform.

The Obama White House puts to use the WhiteHouse.gov website — its blog — to rebuke columnist Charles Krauthammer by name for Krauthammer’s column, “Kill the bills. Do health reform right.” Krauthammer’s case included an argument for step-by-step measures, starting with tort reform:
